'One-to-one' Devoré Day
£80.00 per person.
'One-To-One' Devore Day: £80 per person
Price includes all materials: One length of Silk-Velvet. *Plus FREE 2nd length! Tea/Coffee & 'Cake Break' also included.
'One-To-One' Devore Days are open to individuals.
Unlike with group courses, you will have plenty of space and sole use of the studio/print table to create your Devore scarves.
Advanced Devoré Day
£70 per person.
'Advanced' Devore Days are open to individuals who have already made a Devore Scarf at Clovelly Silk. Price includes all materials: One length of Silk-Velvet. *Plus FREE 2nd length!
Having previously spent time with us at the Clovelly Silk workshop, you will have a far better idea of what to expect from the Devore process. Our 'Advanced' Devore Days are designed to allow you to further explore the technique. We encourage participants to bring some inspiration ~ A book, a photograph, a swatch of fabric or perhaps a magazine image. There is no long introduction to the day and you are encouraged to get working straight away on your more considered and detailed design.
Group Devoré Course

Ideal for Craft Groups ~ We are very happy to give talks and demonstrations.
Hen Parties and student groups ~ Small groups can work together and contribute to a design, each producing a silk-velvet Devore Scarf as a beautiful, lasting reminder of their experience.
There is no fixed price ~ Generally from around £20 per person, depending on the specifics of individual group requirements.
Prices to include Silk-Velvet, Devore Paste, drawing materials and use of printing equipment ~ Tea/Coffee and 'cake Break' included.

Half-Day Tie Dye Course
£50.00 per person
Half-Day Tie Dye Course: £50 per person ~ 10am 'til 1pm
Price includes: All materials and equipment needed to explore a range of dyeing techniques and to dye your garments.
Tea/Coffee and a 'Cake Break' also included!
We ask that participants bring with them 100% Cotton, small garments to dye ~ Sets of socks, t-shirts, baby grows etc.
Tie Dye Day Course

'One-To-One' Tie-dye Days are open to individuals. Unlike with group courses, you will have plenty of space and sole use of the studio/print table.
From beginner to experienced artist, you will be taught at an appropriate level and our courses are designed to cater to all abilities. A relaxed and humorous approach to creativity is encouraged throughout.
Participants create their own unique designs, printing onto one generous, long scarf-length of sumptuous Silk Velvet and enjoying full use of all materials and equipment.
There is plenty of Tea and Coffee throughout the day with a 'Cake Break' too! Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
Our workshop is situated at the top of Clovellys famous cobbled street, so participants need not worry about the steep hill!
We aim to run courses on a Saturday, however, we are aware that many of you have to travel a long way, or would like to build it into your holiday, so contact us to discuss extra dates.
